Mission: Regeneration

 I know that life won't bend itself around my every wish & whim, but I kinda like her more when she's behaving.

Element 1: Air 

 I was never bothered with the lack of temporary vaporous purks , they are temporary afterall! I could always create my own longer-lasting ones! But lately things have been rough , & that brings side effects.. I used to try very hard  to make these times pass more smoothly, but I guess I'm affected by the less time I spend around my positive energy catalysts. Keeping the balance is not as easy as it used to be, I still believe however that physics won't let me down! 

 Element 2: Earth 

 Since my fire engines can't keep me flying all the time, I kinda need Earth to walk. My Earth has always been bumpy, with a few volcanoes scattered here and there. They never bother me because they never errupt! But if you think hard of that matter, it's never the erruption that sucks, lava is actually beautiful! Not that I ever got to see it in my world. It's always the dust, smoke & earthquakes preceding erruption that bother me, they take so long & never purge anything real, let alone beautiful.. 

 Element 3: Water 

 My water sources are few but really generous. At the worst times of drought, I could always find enough to survive. It is a dry season now, but that's not the problem. Because of all the smoke & dust coming from my misbehaving Earth, my temporarily-dry rivers are murky, even a little sour. I should keep my rivers clear & poison free at all times no matter what, but how can I do that before Earth decides to give me a break? 

 Element 4: Fire 

 Since I dicovered fire in my world, a few decacdes ago, I have always valued its sacred presence. Be it a huge bonfire or just a small candle, I can't function without fire! Fire helps me keep the water cycle balanced, fire warms me when all the dust & smoke burn my eyes, fire stays long after the temporary, purky winds are gone. If I lose fire, I die. But can you really keep your bonfire going strong if someone brings a huge pile of dirt & burries it? Can you keep it alive without the slightest blow of oxygen? And if you can't, how do you expect to stay warm in my realm? How can you expect me to keep the rain coming? How can Earth feed the trees? How can boats keep sailing? 

 I guess I'll never know the answers until all my volcanoes errupt .. But then again, lava is too beautiful to be true!
